Harissa Kofta

Warm, spicy harissa paste in Kofta adds a wonderful Middle-eastern flavor and depth hard to perfect with individual spices.  These little morsels are quick and delicious BBQ'd and eaten in soft flatbread with salad and natural yogurt.

Ingredients:

300 gm ground beef mince

2 tbsp Harissa paste

Fresh chopped parsley or chives (optional)

1 tsp salt

Pince of sugar

Method:

Mash mince in a bowl.  Add harissa paste, salt, pepper, herbs (if using).

Mix together and form small boat or canoe shaped pieces, flattening slightly.

Grill on the BBQ or fry in a skillet until cooked through.

Serve hot with warm Middle Eastern-style flatbread and pickled red cabbage.
